Brisbane in 2008, while also undertaking diverse roles including eight years as a GP in Paediatric Emergency Medicine at the Mater Children's Hospital, and as a VMO at Mater Mothers Antenatal Clinic, and Parenting Support Centre. A glutton for punishment, Maggie returned to a registrar role from 2017-2018 to undertake an Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Mater Mothers Hospital. She now divides her time between sessions at St Lucia Medical, and working as a Rural Generalist GP Obstetrician at Beaudesert Hospital, as well as occasional locums in remote Queensland and beyond.
While maternal and child health are her areas of career focus, Maggie is passionate about primary care, and working with patients from all walks of life, at every age and stage. When away from work, she enjoys spending time with her young family, reading, running, and travel (pandemics permitting...).
